West Four Group of Companies has an opportunity for the right individual to join us. This person will report to both the local Operations Manager and Director of Sales, working under the Penner Doors & Hardware brand.
**Position and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the quantity surveying of commercial steel doors and frames, architectural hardware, and building specialties.
- Perform quantity take-off/survey
- Transfer take-off to costing platform
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure takeoff accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of takeoff documentation and reports.
- Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
**Education and Qualifications**
- Knowledge base of the construction and building materials industry an asset.
- Post-secondary education is preferred: Construction sciences such as an Architectural & Building Technologies Diploma or Architectural & Interior Technologies Diploma.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving and advanced Excel skills are required.
- Familiarity with takeoff software**:Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), PlanSwift**, or similar tools is highly recommended.
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently are important attributes.
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
