We are currently seeking an **action-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator** to join our team and help maintain a **positive and proactive safety culture** across our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Promote a strong Health and Safety culture** across all ICE regions.
- **Monitor and maintain** the agency’s **Health and Safety policies and procedures.**:

- **Implement and evaluate** safety protocols for **employees and clients.**:

- **Process and report employee injuries** and **manage WCB claims** including modified duties.
- **Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks** through proactive risk management.
- **Participate in Health and Safety audits** and follow up on action plans.
- **Identify hazards** and implement **control measures** to prevent incidents.
- **Support Health and Safety Committees** in all regions.
- **Track and analyze Health and Safety data** for reporting and continuous improvement.
- **Assist with building and facility maintenance** to ensure a safe work environment.
- **Maintain adequate inventory** of Health and Safety supplies.
- **Administer the agency’s Thank You Card incentive program.**:

- **Perform other related duties** as assigned.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Post-secondary education** in **Occupational Health and Safety** or a related field.
- **Health and Safety certifications or designations** preferred.
- **1+ years of experience** in a **Health and Safety role.**:

- **Strong computer skills** (Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry).
- **Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check** required.
- **Certification in Incident Investigation** and **Hazard Assessment** preferred.
- **Experience in the Disability Services sector** considered an asset.
- **Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented** with the ability to work **independently.**:

- **Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.**
