We are seeking a **Health and Safety Coordinator** to strengthen and maintain a **positive, proactive safety culture** across all ICE regions.

**Position Overview**:
The **Health and Safety Coordinator** is responsible for promoting and maintaining **safe work environments**, implementing and evaluating **safety programs**, and ensuring compliance with all **health and safety standards** across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Promote and support a strong **Health and Safety culture** across all ICE regions.
- Monitor, maintain, and update **Health and Safety policies and procedures**.
- Implement, evaluate, and improve **safety protocols** for employees and clients.
- Process and report **employee injuries**, manage **WCB claims**, and coordinate **modified work duties**.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate **workplace hazards and risks**.
- Participate in **Health and Safety audits** and follow up on action plans.
- Support **Health and Safety Committees** across all regions.
- Track, analyze, and report **Health and Safety data** for continuous improvement.
- Assist with **facility maintenance** to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain inventory of **Health and Safety supplies**.
- Administer the **Thank You Card incentive program**.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in **Occupational Health and Safety** or a related field.
- **Health and Safety certifications** or designations preferred.
- Minimum **1 year of experience** in a Health and Safety role.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Word**, **Excel**, and **data entry**.
- Clear **Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check** required.
- Certification in **Incident Investigation** and **Hazard Assessment** preferred.
- Experience in the **Disability Services sector** is an asset.
- Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with ability to work independently.
- Strong **communication**, **organizational**, and **problem-solving skills**.
