Estimator Coordinator

**What you'll do**:

- Source tender opportunities, download tender documentation for review by estimating team.
- Create bid files electronically in our computer program and physically in the filing system.
- Chair weekly estimating meetings
- Coordinate and organize pre-bid meeting and site visits as required.
- Solicit and collect quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Advise assigned estimators of front-end requirements included in the tender documents.
- Request any additional details from clients that are missing from the tender package.
- Maintain up to date database and tracking systems.
- Prepare accurate and detailed tender documents and submit them in timely manner.
- Follow up with clients to gain key information and feedback regarding recently submitted bids.
- Communicate notice of bid statuses back to clients based on internal bidding direction.
- Maintain systems and procedures in relation to estimating.
- Uphold a thorough understanding of industry trends and regulations to effectively contribute to the estimating process.
- Perform general administrative and record-keeping functions as required.

**What you'll bring to the table**
- College diploma in Estimating, Civil Engineering Tech or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong document management skills, with the ability to organize and maintain accurate records.
- Bilingual proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in French
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional time management multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, including familiarity with construction methods, materials, and terminology is an asset.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant tools is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
