**This is an exciting entry level position for our Estimation department, with advancement opportunities to an Estimator’s position.**

Are you looking to start a new office career with full training on the job If so, then this is the position for you This is an entry level Estimation support role that could provide future development and growth within the role.

You must be motivated and detail-oriented, and a good communicator. This role is ideal for someone early in their estimating career who also possesses strong organizational skills to coordinate and support the preconstruction process. You will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects while managing administrative and coordination tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient bidding process.

Our Estimation team includes a VP of Preconstruction, Estimation Coordinator and 3 Estimators with extensive experience. If you want to start at an entry level position, this team is a strong, collaborative and motivated team. This department provides all the training you will need to be successful as long as you have the right mindset to learn

**Key Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Support the Estimators in completing their tenders including some quantity take-offs and obtain required costs for various plumbing, heating and gas systems (e.g., piping, fixtures, equipment).
- Learn to analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain and update unit cost databases and estimating tools.
- Support in preparing final documents and necessary support documentation for bid packages and proposals.
- Support Estimation Coordinator in searching online tenders
- Ad Hoc projects.

**Coordination**:

- Provide administrative support to the estimating team as required.
- Act as a backup to the Estimation Coordinator to ensure consistent workflow and project support during absences or peak workloads.
- Manage incoming bid invitations and ensure timely responses.
- Support the team
- Organize and distribute project documentation to the estimating team.
- Maintain estimating schedules and bid calendars.
- Ensure all bid requirements and submission deadlines are met.
- Track and follow up on submitted bids and prequalification documents.
- Communicate with general contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to gather necessary information.
- Ad Hoc projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
