**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a **Carpenter and labourer with Painting experience** to Start immediately to assist with finishing a basement apartment. Work can start on the 30th of October.

In this role, you will contribute to various renovation projects, including:

- Interior and exterior painting
- Deck building and general carpentry
- Construction clean-up
- Concrete
- Finishing a basement apartment in an older home
- Carpentry repairs

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Carpentry & Renovation Work**:

- Painting trim and shelves
- Carpentry
- Complete demolition tasks (relatively light) as needed.
- Transport materials to the dump.
- Site clean up and other general renovation tasks.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and ensure project standards are maintained.
- Work independently and efficiently, often in physically demanding conditions.

**Additional Duties**:

- Manage construction processes for assigned projects.
- Create concrete forms as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in painting, labour, construction cleanup, home renovations, or a related field.

Strong skills in:

- Carpentry and building
- Concrete forming
- Restoration work
- Painting and finishing
- Physically capable of performing demanding labor tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.

**Job Details**:

- **Job Type**: Full-time / Short Project
- **Pay**: $25 per hour
- **Expected Hours**: 20-35 per week

**Schedule**:

- **This is near the end of a renovation - we need help to push it forward and also have some other projects.**

**Education**:

- **Secondary School** (preferred)

**Experience**:

- **Construction**: 1 year (required)

**Licence/Certification**:

- **Driver's License** (required)

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
