This position requires familiarity with medical terminology as well as organized administrative abilities.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Performing medical office assistant duties, such as booking patients, operating clinic phone, managing electronic faxes, preparing patient charts.
- Patient oriented duties: Obtaining patient vitals, recording patient medical history, and performing electrocardiograms (EKG/ECG).
- Collecting data and performing statistical analysis on patient metrics

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field will be considered.
- A recent graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program
- Individuals with equivalent qualifications or experience in healthcare will also be considered.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (some training specific to Oscar will be provided)
- Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced, high stress** environment.
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision is highly valued.
- Willingness to learn and take critique.
