We are looking for a passionate Medical Office Administrator to join our team Parkway Spine & Wellness is a multidisciplinary patient care clinic that offers a complete range of rehabilitation services, including: chiropractic, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy and medical products.
**Skills**:
- Excellent Computer Skills: typing (50-60 WPM), data entry, experience with Universal scheduling software is an asset.
- Strong written and oral communication (Fluent in English)
- Experience in a patient/client-focused role involving engagement and retention ability (Experience in a physio/chiro clinic is an asset)
- Positive Attitude and Friendly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Evening shifts and Saturdays required
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks, multitask and complete them in a timely manner.
- Ability to deal with difficult clients
- Product knowledge: orthotics, bracing, stocking, tens, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties: answer phone calls, schedule appointments and greet patients.
- Verify and update patients' records, invoicing and daily reports.
- Communicating with insurance companies (Extended Health Plans, WSIB and MVA)
- Controlling day-to-day flow of a busy multidisciplinary clinic
- Assisting practitioners when needed
