The Office of Experiential Education at UNB helps to strengthen, support and grow UNB's experiential learning opportunities across both UNB campuses in close relationships with faculties, departments, and non-academic offices throughout the university. The Office of Experiential Education helps partners access funding for experiential learning opportunities through a variety of funding programs.

**Position summary**:

- Coordinate with external partners to create community-based experiential learning opportunities in the health sector - this will involve meeting with external partners, developing a database of potential WIL partners, coordinating opportunities, communicating opportunities to internal programs, etc.
- Develop field experience procedures, policies, and guidelines that will be used to communicate opportunities to partners and students.
- Provide support, data collection, reporting, and assessment for health-related community-based experiential learning opportunities at UNB.
- The Field Experience coordinator will assist OEE staff in creating data metrics and Key Process Indicators (KPls). They will also assist in producing data for reporting to GNB and other external funders and accrediting bodies.

**Requirements/Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (education, social work, community development) is required.
- Degree (BSWor MSW) from a CASWE accredited program and registration with the New Brunswick Association of Social Work would be considered an asset.
- 3-5 years' experience working in a collaborative community environment with experience in opportunity development and project coordination.
- Previous experience with experiential learning would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the social service and community development network in New Brunswick.
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexible, able to prioritize and able to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven record of achieving project goals on time and produce deliverables of a high quality.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment with new challenges daily.
- Team oriented individual who can communicate effectively with teammates, with the ability to work and collaborate virtually.

This position is covered by the terms and conditions contained in the Collective Agreement negotiated between UNB and PSAC/PTSU Local 60551.
