Comfort Keepers Sudbury, ON is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team in the role of certified PSWs and Caregiver in Greater Sudbury, ON area. PSWs and Caregivers in a home care setting do more than provide great care - they change the quality of life for our senior clients, enabling them to remain independent and safe in their home longer.

As a PSW and Caregiver on our team, you will provide one-on-one assistance to seniors in the comfort of their own homes to ensure they are living the most positive and purposeful lives possible. This role will allow you to connect with seniors on a personal level and make a positive impact on their day-to-day health and well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide interactive care - spend time getting to know your clients
- Bathing, showering, toileting (PSW's only)
- Meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Dressing & grooming (PSWs only)
- Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
- Vacuuming, Dusting, Cleaning Bathrooms, Mopping, Sweeping, Cleaning Kitchens
- Grocery shopping, running errands
- Transferring, mobility support
- Assistance with transportation to medical appointments, etc.
- Communicating with office and family

**Job Requirements**:

- French Speaking is an Asset
- Genuinely concerned about helping people
- Must have a mobile phone (data enabled preferred) and internet
- Must have a minimum of a G2 driver's license
- Must have a reliable vehicle and insurance (travel to multiple locations in a day)
- Must have a current Vulnerable Sector Police check (within past 6 months) or be willing to obtain one
- Must have PSW/HCA Certificate or equivalent
- Must have Current First Aid and CPR Training certificate

Our office serves seniors in communities throughout the Greater Sudbury, ON area.

**Experience**:

- Personal Support Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR and First Aid certificate (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (required)
- G or G2 Driver's Licence and vehicle to use for work (preferred)
- PSW certificate from Canada or equivalent (required)
