We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious **Talent Acquisition Specialist**who thrives in a ‘start-up’ environment and brings the knowledge, experience, and drive to help us build a best-in-class workplace..

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and staffing needs.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for current and future needs.
- Conduct initial screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage background checks, reference checks, and work authorization requirements.
- Develop and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and track key hiring metrics.
- Monitor work permits, SIN expirations, and benefits.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve recruitment effectiveness.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a full-cycle recruitment role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
- Experience with ATS platforms and HR systems.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience recruiting for retail, technical, or specialized positions.
- Proficiency in social media recruitment strategies.
- HR or recruitment certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset.
