**What’s Ninja?**

Ninja is short for ninja obstacle course racing. It is similar to what you see on the show American Ninja Warrior. If you haven’t trained in ninja before, don’t worry We can teach you If you bring an athletic background we have full confidence you can lead kids through their ninja experience.

**What Will You Be Doing?**

The School Programming & Camp Lead will be responsible for leading a team of coaches in the successful implementation of our spring Mobile Obstacle Courses and summer Camps programming. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your leadership capabilities

This role reports to our School Programming and Camps Coordinator.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Staffing**
- Support the training of Mobile Obstacle Course (MOC) and Camp coaches as required
- Provide feedback for MOC and Camp coach performance reviews
- Provide coaching to team members, including identifying areas for skill development
- Be an accessible, approachable leader for team members that fosters a supportive environment

**Mobile Obstacle Courses**

Operations
- Participate in the implementation and running of MOCs
- Participate in MOC setups and takedowns
- Complete equipment maintenance and inspection
- Find solutions to problems as they arise
- Ensure that participants are having fun
- Demonstrate the Fitset Ninja Mission & Values
- Provide exceptional customer service, including engaging with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling guest complaints
- Report concerns to the MOC & Camp Coordinator

Program Development
- Provide feedback to the leadership team on opportunities for improvement and growth for our MOC strategy

**Camps**

Operations
- Oversee operations and success of a specific Calgary camp location (either North or South)
- Delegation of roles and responsibilities for camp staff at your specific location
- Support in the development of camp lesson plans
- Lead course setup and refresh
- Lead coaches meetings, including post-camp debriefs
- Ensure the safe operation of our camp facilities and equipment
- Find solutions to problems as they arise
- Ensure that participants are having fun
- Demonstrate the Fitset Ninja Mission & Values
- Provide exceptional customer service, including engaging with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling guest complaints
- Report concerns to the MOC & Camp Coordinator

Program Development
- Provide feedback to the leadership team on opportunities for improvement and growth for our camps program

**Qualifications**
- Valid Standard First Aid / CPR-C required within three months of hire date
- Completed and cleared Police Record check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed prior to start date
- Completion of the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders Certificate wit
