**Añejo is hiring for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join and lead the Don Mills team.**

**Location**:Añejo Don Mills - 7 Marie Labette Rd. Toronto, ON

**Who You Are**:

- You have 2-3 years of proven restaurant management experience.
- You have your First Aid, Food Safe, ProServe/SmartServe, and ProTect Security Certifications, as well as a recent police check.
- You have a firm understanding of labour standards and human rights regulations.
- You are a genuine, personable, vibrant, and team-oriented individual.
- You pride yourself on your customer service skills, your ability to make people feel at home, your reliability, and your ability to “keep upbeat” even during the busiest shifts.
- You are solution focused and resourceful - you think on your feet effectively to find resolutions to situations.
- You manage time effectively through planning and multitasking without skipping a beat.
- You are a great communicator, both in person and on the phone/online.
- You are easily coachable and see feedback as an opportunity to keep improving your skills and abilities.
- You might have future aspirations to be employed as General Manager or in our corporate team

**What You'll Do**:

- Manage daily operations to ensure a positive, safe, and profitable environment.
- Demonstrate expertise in tequila and agave spirits.
- Lead and uphold standards on the floor consistently.
- Ensure compliance with company, AGLC, and government regulations.
- Complete assigned tasks and achieve set goals.
- Control liquor costs, prevent theft, and manage promotions.
- Conduct inventory and maintain cleanliness to meet health standards.
- Train and coach staff to company standards.
- Maintain high scores on audits and mystery shops.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Interact with guests, promote events, and uphold brand image.
- Assist in recruitment, training, payroll, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repair.
- Coordinate with General Manager on financial and administrative matters.
- Delegate tasks and schedules, and plan projects effectively.
- Develop training systems and ensure effective communication.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
