Milestones Scarborough Town Centre is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team

We’re searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong operational knowledge, and leads with confidence, integrity, and positivity.

About the Role
As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all daily operations. You will help drive sales, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain Milestones’ high standards of execution and hospitality. You will also play a key role in developing and coaching our team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading, motivating, and coaching a diverse team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Managing daily operations, including shift execution and performance management
- Completing and interpreting inventory, including strong knowledge of A vs T and variance analysis
- Overseeing ordering, receiving, and product quality controls
- Creating, managing, and optimizing schedules to meet labour targets
- Upholding all HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Supporting recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes
- Ensuring timing standards, brand standards, and operational procedures are consistently met
- Assisting with ongoing training, development, and succession planning
- Contributing to a positive, engaged, and solution-focused work culture

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience (full-service preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, support, and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of inventory systems, particularly A vs T processes
- Experience with scheduling, ordering, and hiring
- Strong communication skills and a calm, confident leadership style
- Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and stay organized under pressure
- Social media management an asset
- A passion for hospitality and guest experience excellence
