**Job Summary**:
**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies while performing on-farm tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Prioritize health and safety by following established procedures, minimizing workplace risks, and complying with food safety protocols.
- Prepare for projects by visiting building sites, taking measurements, creating drawings, and studying blueprints.
- Design and build structures using wood and other materials.
- Install structures, fixtures, and fittings on-site.
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project deadlines.
- Inspect finished structures and consult on carpentry-related projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or construction is preferred.
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical plans, and drawings.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, and teamwork while working with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various environments, including heights, tight spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

**Additional Information**:

- Hours of work are dependent on production. Flexibility to work on days, evenings and Saturdays would be required.
- The wage ranges from $19 to $28 per hour, depending on experience and education.
- This is a temporary position until October 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Reports To: This position reports to the Storage Manager.
