**About the Saint-Louis Residence**

Saint-Louis Residence is a 198 bed Long-Term Care (LTC) home with convalescent care, peritoneal dialysis and respite programs situated in a quiet residential neighborhood on a picturesque setting on the edge of the Ottawa river. **What would my role be?**

Reporting to the Manager, Nutrition and Food services, you will:

- Set up the meal service and serve the meals to residents according to the diet orders.
- Clear and clean the dining room after each meal service.
- Clean and sanitize the dishes, bring supplies/snacks to the dining rooms and ensure proper rotation/storage of stock.
- Ensure proper temperatures of foods and documentation.

**How do I qualify?**

Required:

- Completion of High School Diploma.
- A combination of the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in a relevant setting (healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality).
- Valid food handler certificate from a recognized institution
- Fluent in French and English

Preferred:

- Food Service Attendant certificate from a recognized institution
- Meal service experience in LTC home.

- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to demonstrate a respectful, patient and compassionate behavior towards patients and residents.
- Capacity to provide quality client-centered service.
- Able to perform activities requiring considerable standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling/pushing and transferring equipment.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Basic knowledge in medical terminology.
