Key Holder/budtender

**Minerva is seeking a Key Holder to work at our flagship retail store in Toronto. We are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic staff member who is excited to join and excel with our team.**

**A Key Holder is critical in supporting the successful execution of store operations, and a leader in the development of our people and our guest experience. In partnership with the retail leadership team you will be accountable for leading and supervising operations and achieving business goals. You will demonstrate up to date knowledge, motivate and inspire your peers, deliver first-class guest experience, drive sales results and uphold regulation compliance.**

WHAT YOU DO
- Exemplify our brand Mission and Values in everyday interaction with store guests and fellow team members.
- Continually promote our brand and be a positive representative of our industry.
- Validate that the team is creating an engaging and welcoming environment within the store and cultivating meaningful relationships through trust and rapport in order drive return business.
- Deliver personalized experience to all our guests and provide relevant education. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, consumption methods, products, responsible use, and ensuring guests receive the right product that match their needs and wants.
- In partnership with the leadership team, support in elevating the atmosphere and experience for team members and guests while upholding Federal and Provincial compliance to the highest standard.
- Responsible for ensuring all employees are operating in accordance with Health Canada and provincial regulations, and upholding the company’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Lead by example in providing first-class guest experiences and service standard. Support in training and developing our retail teams to increase profitability.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets as set by the leadership team, and communicate opportunities and observations related to the business.
- Support the leadership in BOH responsibilities including inventory management, store cleanliness and organization.
- Act as a socially responsible vendor in the community we conduct our business by providing education, expertise, passion and promoting responsible use.
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy in all cash desk management operations that uphold our loss prevention, provincial and federal standards including the performance of Cash Drops and End of Day Reporting.
- Follow all security guidelines set forth by the Retail Leadership Team
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, including financial summaries and internal employee materials.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Pre-requisite for employment: CannSell Certification (current provincial retail cannabis training and certification) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
- **Minimum of 3 years **supervisory guest experience in retail, hospitality, food service, liquor or health care.

**- Minimum of 1 year experience in the cannabis sector as a supervisor, manager or key holder.**
- Not Mandatory : Valid G License with a clean driving record and ability to take Delivery shifts when needed.
- Agility and the ability to adjust with a positive attitude to changing provincial, regulatory, and company operating policies.
- Experience in executing and managing high level daily operations including floor and sales management, cash management and supporting or leading inventory counts is desired.
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, team orientated and creative environment, has an entrepreneurial spirit and genuine enthusiasm about cannabis culture.

- Working knowledge of regulations such as legal limits, age verification and safety and the ability to effectively convey this information to new and developing team members.
- Able to work a variety of shifts that meet our business needs, including evenings and weekends.
