**Job description**

Hot Buds is looking for Budtenders, Key Holders and Sales Associates to join our team in Kensington Market. Creating a positive atmosphere, engaging, and educating customers while driving sales will be key attributes for success in this position. Actively seeking individuals with passion and vast knowledge of the cannabis industry, as well as in-depth understanding of AGCO store guidelines and reporting requirements

If you enjoy working as part of a team and have a flexible work schedule (shifts will include opening/closing the store and working weekdays and weekends) we want to hear from you. The possibilities within this rapidly growing segment of the industry are endless, and the position has the possibility of rapid promotion to assistant store manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome and assist all customers that enter the store
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionally handle all inquiries, complaints or concerns
- Record and accurately input inventory with strong attention to detail
- Meet all KPI and sales goal targets established by the Store Manager on a daily and weekly basis
- Complete end of day reports and assist with closing
- Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19 by reviewing government issued photo identification.
- Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members
- Adhere to and uphold Loss Prevention controls to prevent all possible opportunities
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances.
- Determine if any guests have physical restrictions that should be considered
- Educate and provide information to customers in an engaging manner
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store at all times

**Experience and Requirements**
- **CannSell Standard certified (MUST/Required)**:

- **Previous Cannabis Retail Experience (MUST/Required)**:

- **At least 19 years of age **(MUST/Required)**:

- Works well with others or independently with little supervision
- Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, cultivars and products
- Professional demeanour with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and charisma
- Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm
- Energetic and highly determined
- Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier) systems

Note: The chosen applicant will be required to successfully complete background and reference checks. All offers of employment are conditional on the receipt of satisfactory results. You must be eligible to work in Canada. Responsibilities and the job title may change overtime due to the flexible nature of the role.

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Curbside pickup available. The store is regularly sanitized.
