**Position Summary**

This is an opportunity to work for a leading company in the organic food sector. Your role as a warehouse order picker plays a crucial part in getting healthy, nutritious foods to stores and food box companies all across Ontario

**Job Duties**
- Maintain a clean warehouse and efficient working environment.
- Organize coolers so that product is stacked away properly.
- Rotate product and ensure product is labeled according to specific policies.
- Pick orders as required and make sure that shorted items are reported to the office.
- Report any low inventory levels to the Warehouse Manager.
- Stack skids in coolers to ensure space is utilized effectively.
- Ice product when required following standardized procedures to complete the task

**Qualifications and Core Competencies**
- General understanding of food storage procedures.
- General understanding of produce quality standards. Knowledge of organic product is considered an asset.
- Display a strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multi task, manage time effectively and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Must be able to stand and move around for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to comfortably lift and handle loads up to 50lbs.
- Majority of work completed in a cold temperature environment.
- Continuous learning environment including training opportunities.
- General labour work attire but clothing must be clean and intact.
- **Availability must include Sundays between 8am-3pm, and weekdays between 9am-6pm.**:
