**Position Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader As a full time employee at **Pfenning’s Organic Vegetables Inc.**, you will work in our warehouse, completing a range of different roles and duties, primarily order picking. You will be responsible for following standardized procedures pertaining to your position and the roles and duties associated with it.

**Job Duties**
- Maintain a clean warehouse and efficient working environment.
- Organize coolers so that product is stacked away properly.
- Rotate product and ensure product is labeled according to specific policies.
- Pick orders as required and make sure that shorted items are reported to the office.
- Report any low inventory levels to the Warehouse Manager.
- Stack skids in coolers to ensure space is utilized effectively.
- Ice product when required following standardized procedures to complete the task

**Qualifications and Core Competencies**
- General understanding of food storage procedures.
- General understanding of produce quality standards. Knowledge of organic product is considered an asset.

**Display a strong attention to detail**.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multi task, manage time effectively and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Must be able to stand and move around for prolonged periods of time.
- Majority of work completed in a cold temperature environment.
- Continuous learning environment including training opportunities.
- General labour work attire but clothing must be clean and intact.
- **Hours include a Sunday morning shift from 8am to 1pm, and various other shifts scheduled between Monday to Friday from 3pm to 5pm. These hours will fluctuate based on season and demands of the business.**:
