**Position Scope**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise and collect operational information based on progress updates for the Production Team
- Read drawings and use AutoCAD to make flat patterns for laser-cut machines or waterjet machines
- Assist in the planning and preparation of production materials and parts.
- Assist in the tracking, quality control, and storage of production parts sourced locally and abroad
- Ensure equipment and worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
- Abide by the requirements of WorkSafeBC and the safety manual/procedures
- Fulfill other manufacturing-related duties as required from time to time

**Qualifications & Abilities**
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of laser cutting experience preferred
- Punctual, strong and reliable work ethics
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings
- Ability to work long hours
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting
- Possess a positive can-do attitude and a great team player
- Experience is an asset, however, full training will be provided
