**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Casual Building Maintenance Worker to oversee the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities.This position provides maintenance services for JIBC owned and leased buildings and coordinates the work of specialty sub-contractors. Primary responsibilities include maintenance and repair of building systems, maintenance and repair of equipment and furniture, and assisting with statutory and regulatory inspections. In addition, the Casual Building Maintenance Worker will conduct subcontractor orientation, supervision, and safety. They will also perform administrative tasks.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal / customer service skills;
- Experience in facility management and building operations;
- Knowledgeable and trained in Delta Controls DDC;
- WHMIS certification;
- Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS);
- Knowledge and experience with reading drawings, plans and schematic designs;
- Ability to lift 50 lbs;
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Valid Drivers’ License.

$31.94 to $36.24 per hour (BCGEU Pay Grid 16)
