**As a Building Service Worker, your responsibilities will include**:

- Carrying out deep cleaning tasks in community centre during non-operating hours, covering multipurpose rooms, public washrooms, aquatic centre change rooms, fitness centre and gyms.
- Performing detailed floor care duties, adhering to specific protocols for a variety of flooring types.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment, including auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors, and related machinery.
- Ensuring compliance with established guidelines, emphasizing safety efficiency and sustainability.

**You will bring the following knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Proficiency in janitorial methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and exercise independent judgement
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate both independent work capability and collaborative teamwork within a diverse work group.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Building Service Worker certificate
- WHMIS certificate
- Pool Operator 1 certificate is an asset
- Clear Police Information Check required.

**Additional Information**:

- The position is scheduled for Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Regular shift changes are scheduled throughout the year and are based on operational requirements.
