We are looking for a Full-time Contractor Sales Rep who is self motivated and looking to build a career with an experienced and driven team of managers and sales reps. Make your next career move with us

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Contractor Sales Representative at Van Beeks is responsible for managing the contractor accounts. Interacting with Contractors and customers and providing guidance about Van Beek’s products/materials. Maintains a professional work environment by providing superior customer service and promotes the company’s products and services.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide accurate quotes and pricing to customers.
- Addressing customer product and pricing concerns.
- Data entry of invoices into company software (ERP) system (Netsuite knowledge an asset).
- Providing guidance to contractors and customers on our products/materials.
- Knowledge of company product line and core customers.
- Interacting with the public, supervisors, fellow employees and building relationships with Contractors is key.
- May perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary education (an asset).
- Valid G license and able to travel as required.
- 3 years relevant or similar experience within material/landscape sales or sales management.
- Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills.
- Experience in landscape or materials industry is considered an asset.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- lifting 30 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
