We are seeking a full-time Contractor Sales Representative who is self-motivated and eager to build a career with our experienced and driven team of managers and sales professionals. Take the next step in your career with us

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Contractor Sales Representative at Van Beeks is responsible for overseeing contractor accounts. This role involves engaging with contractors and customers to offer guidance on Van Beek’s products and materials. The representative maintains a professional work environment by delivering exceptional customer service and actively promoting the company’s products and services.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide accurate quotes and pricing to customers.
- Addressing customer product and pricing concerns.
- Data entry of invoices into company software (ERP) system (Netsuite knowledge an asset).
- Providing guidance to contractors and customers on our products/materials.
- Knowledge of company product line and core customers.
- Retail sales POS system knowledge
- Interacting with the public, supervisors, fellow employees and building relationships with Contractors is key.
- May perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary education (an asset).
- Valid G license and able to travel as required.
- 3 years relevant or similar experience within material/landscape sales or sales management.
- Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills.
- Experience in landscape or materials industry is considered an asset.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- lifting 30 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
