We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Stone Crock Inc in St Jacobs. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive excellent service while efficiently handling transactions, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch dining experiences.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawers.
- Provide product information and upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in customer service or cashier roles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
