**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our company in Mississauga.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including small businesses and corporations
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Handle monthly and year-end close processes
- Reconcile accounts, including banks and credit card statements
- Prepare and file HST/GST /QST returns, WSIB reports, and other regulatory filings
- Run biweekly payroll
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements report on monthly basis
- Other duties might be required
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office. Excel is a must
- Experience with payroll processing, including government remittances and reporting
- Familiarity with Canadian accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries from the clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, French is an asset
- must be legally work in Canada (no permits)
- A college diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting or a related field is preferred
- Certification as a bookkeeper (CPB, or similar) is an asset
**Additional Information**:
- Location: Mississauga, ON (in-office) Monday to Friday
