**Job Overview**:
The Junior Paralegal at Akash Homes will be a crucial member of our legal team, providing essential support in our homebuilding operations. This role requires a detail oriented individual with a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of legal procedures and documentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comfortably maintain between 20-30 files a month.
- Open files, process the transaction, close the file, and prepare any bank and client reports necessary.
- Arrange meetings, appointments, and events for executive management, ensuring no scheduling conflicts.
- Create, edit, and organize essential documents and contracts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including taking minutes and ensuring follow-ups are executed.
- Stay updated with the residential construction industry's latest trends, assisting the executive team with data collection and insights.
- Monitor executive expenses, ensuring they adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Organize travel logistics for senior management as required.

**Qualifications/Skills Required**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- 2 years of experience in estate planning paralegal work or in a related legal field
- An aptitude for effective communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Be comfortable with change and have the ability to adapt as needed
- Uphold a strong work ethic, good judgment, professional appearance, and a positive demeanor
- Ability to work independently
- Hold the ability to follow established office procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
