Our **Vocational Training Programs** are very unique, and we stand out from other schools. We believe in traditional instructor-led training integrated with guided hands-on skills practice, and one-on-one support is always available. Technical skills are very important, we also concentrate equally on communication and interpersonal skills.
**Overview**
We are seeking a qualified **Student Services and Campus Support Coordinator** to join our team. The Student Services and Campus Support Coordinator will be responsible for providing information and customer service to support students navigating through the various stages of the student lifecycle. The incumbent will act as the first point of contact for students and contribute to a strong, positive student experience by creatively responding to and resolving student queries. This dynamic position is at the forefront of student engagement, support, and community-building, ensuring that each student feels connected and empowered throughout their academic journey.
**Responsibilities**:
**Student Support Services**: Serve as a primary point of contact for students seeking assistance with academic, personal, and social matters. Provide guidance, referrals, and resources to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
**Crisis Response and Management**: Respond promptly to crises, emergencies, and incidents on campus, coordinating appropriate responses and support services. Collaborate with campus security, counseling services, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of the campus community.
**Community Engagement**: Develop and implement programs, initiatives, and activities to promote a sense of belonging and connectedness among students, faculty, and staff. Organize community-building events, workshops, and seminars to foster dialogue, collaboration, and mutual support.
**Campus Resource Coordination**: Coordinate campus resources and facilities to meet the needs of students and support various campus initiatives. Manage scheduling, logistics, and maintenance of facilities such as study spaces, meeting rooms, and recreational areas.
**Student Advocacy**: Advocate for student needs and interests by liaising with campus administration, faculty, and staff. Identify systemic issues and barriers to student success and work collaboratively to address them through policy development, advocacy campaigns, and other initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a college or university setting, preferably in student affairs, student services, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to student support services and campus safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of campus life and support services.
**Salary**: From $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
