The Production Supervisor monitors operations of the production department to ensure that qualitative and quantitative measures included in the operating plan are met. Specific focus is on sanitation and quality results (HACCP and SQF), health and safety, good manufacturing practices and productivity. The incumbent participates to maintain the requirements on food safety, quality and defense. Other areas of focus are employee relations, production scheduling/staffing, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction.

**_What’s involved in this role _**
- Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations, and ability to implement programs to improve safety culture.
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the production team;
- Promote and enhance a positive employee relation atmosphere including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement.
- Supports the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation is suitable for third party / customer audits to maintain the SQF/ HACCP status at the plant;
- Monitor and ensure efficiency of plant equipment and resources and ensure production requirements are met on time;
- Track efficiencies & productivity, measure results and communicate performance.

**_What you need to join our team _**
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical organizational skills;
- Working knowledge of the administration of collective agreements;
- Computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Teams, Word and Excel), and Kronos an asset;
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems (GMP, HACCP and SQF), an asset;
- Must be self-motivated, results oriented, possess high degree of initiative, work well under pressure.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and leading change would be considered an asset.
- Must be able to work 8hours shift based on a 24/7 operations
