**What You'll Do**:

- **Lead and Engage a High-Performance Team**: Direct and inspire a production team of 16-20 employees, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet performance goals
- **Ensure Quality, Safety, and Environmental Compliance**:Uphold production processes that meet quality, safety, and environmental standards, creating a safe and compliant work environment
- **Optimize Production Resources**: Monitor productivity, adjust tasks and scheduling, and efficiently allocate resources to meet production targets
- **Train and Develop Team Members**:Coach and support your direct reports in enhancing their skills and professional growth through performance management and development programs
- **Support Administrative Operations**:Manage scheduling, payroll processing, and daily reporting to maintain efficient operations

- **Education**:

- **Minimum**:Post-Secondary diploma or trade certification in industrial technology, engineering, or a related field
- **Preferred**:Bachelor's Degree in industrial technology, forestry, or business administration

- **Experience**:

- **Minimum**:4+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- **Preferred**:Experience working in industrial forestry or sawmill operations

- **Certifications**:

- **Minimum**:Relevant safety or industry certifications

- **Knowledge and Skills**:

- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts
