**Job description**:
We are looking for a talented Active Directory & Data Management Engineer. This is a permanent position. The work is hybrid and the applicant must live in the Montreal area. Beautiful technologies and nice challenge are waiting for you.

**What will your day-to-day be like?**
- Managing Active Directory services
- Troubleshooting Active Directory domains and providing L3 support for incident management.
- Active Directory consolidation and migration activities.
- Enforce standard group security policies.
- Define OU tree and delegations.
- Provide package to create groups, service accounts, policies and delegation model.
- Ensure the security level of the new trusted AD forest.
- Define trust relationships.

**Data Management**
- Administration / Support of file services and DFS.
- Manage CIFS shares and permissions, in a multi-site environment.
- Merge / Reorganize folders / shares.
- Support infrastructure providing data to end-users at their location (DFS, Login Script, File Share Service).
- Review capacity planning (share occupancy and forecasting)

**Technical Qualifications and Skills**:

- You have 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure support.
- You have 3-5 years of experience supporting Active Directory infrastructure (DNS, NTP, DHCP, replication, trusts).
- You have 3-5 years of experience in data management (CIFS, ACL NTFS, DFS).
- You have 2-4 years of experience in script development (PowerShell, Visual Basic).
- You have 2-4 years of experience installing and supporting Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016.
- Understanding of basic project management concepts
- You are customer oriented and an effective communicator. You are able to explain a complex issue in a simple manner.

**Desired skills / Bonus**:

- ITIL
- Agile practices are a plus
- ADFS & Office365 Azure
- AD Connect
- Experience working with stakeholders and other technical teams to gather business and technical requirements and design AD integration with enterprise solutions.
- Experience with architecture/design and implementation.
- You are comfortable with collaboration tools Microsoft M365 and MS Teams

**Education**:
You have a bachelor's degree, DEC or equivalent technical certifications.

**Languages**:

- Good verbal and written communication in English
- Written and spoken French is considered an asset
