Daniel et Daniel operates in Toronto’s most exclusive venues including Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Evergreen Brickworks, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Royal Ontario Museum and many more.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate production planning and scheduling with the Executive Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous-Chef
- Supervise one subordinate
- Able to identify and handle production and quality issues promptly.
- Bake breakfast pastries, breads, rolls, buns, muffins, cookies, and cakes.
- Measure or weigh ingredients for batters, doughs, and fillings.
- Scale recipes based on production needs to yield sufficient product while minimizing food waste.
- Prepare a range of breakfast items such as parfait, fruit trays, fruit cups.
- Tray, package, and label pastry items.
- Ensure quality of products meet established standards.
- knowledgeable of the lamination process. some lamination experience a plus

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work under strict deadlines and meet client expectations
- Knowledge of general baking principles and understanding of a wide variety of recipes
- Excellent knowledge of safety, health rules, and quality controls
- Excellent understanding of imperial systems and metrics of measurements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist in the day-to-day operations within the bakery

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 44 per week
