**Hours**: Monday to Friday, varying start times
**Compensation**: $28.48 per hour

**Summary**:
The Front-End Class 3 Driver will be responsible for operating Front-End trucks. This role supports public health by ensuring timely service, adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and respectful interaction with the community.

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Front-End Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- The safe and efficient operation of Front-End trucks and Rear Loader trucks at times.
- Ensure Customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules.
- Physical ability to safely push and pull various sizes and weights of containers in and out of enclosures and rooms. Unlocking and locking of containers and enclosures/rooms.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results.
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures.
- Effective use of tablet, including weights entered & photos of blocked calls.

**Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in Halifax, Dartmouth and surrounding areas.
- Clean drivers abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Statutory Holidays and / or Saturdays will be required at times.
- Effective written and verbal communication is mandatory.
- Excellent attendance and performance record.
