Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Perform inspections of equipment
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on equipment, to an extent
- Assist in salvage operations and recovery missions
- Follow safety protocols and procedures for diving operations including wearing PPE
- Keep accurate records of dive times, depths, and tasks completed
- Must be willing to work shifts unsupervised as required and other duties assigned by Manager.
- Must be capable of driving all vehicles in the Company Fleet including tandems with float.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in diving techniques
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment
- Experience with commercial diving practices
- Ability to operate forklifts and other freight handling equipment
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques

**Requirements**:

- Certification in commercial diving or equivalent
- Class 1 or 3 drivers license required
- 5 Years safe driving record (Provide a Nova Scotia Drivers Abstract) in operation of heavy equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, 5 years accident free driving record, 5 years free of convictions for moving traffic violations, 5 years free of convictions for alcohol or drug offences.
