**Class 3 Operator**

Atlantic Explosives Limited is currently seeking a self-motivated energetic individual to join our team We are looking for someone who is hard working, reliable and willing to perform a variety of tasks.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Class 3 Licence (required)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Air brake endorsement
- Positive attitude & Commitment to safety
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Capability of performing physically demanding work
- WHMIS / First Aid
- Criminal record check & Driver’s abstract must be provided upon hiring
- Own transportation to and from our Upper Musquodoboit office is required - our Head Office is located an hour from Halifax and 45 minutes from Truro
- General labour
- must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces
- Properly maintain equipment and tools
- Ensure clean job site

**General Duties and Responsibilities**
- To arrive on time for each scheduled shift - Notification to a supervisor is required if you are not able to make it to work that day.
- Complete all paperwork requirements - are to be passed in daily at the end of each shift.
- Operate truck in safe and secure manner at ALL times.
- Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Grease weekly.
- Report mechanical problems to the mechanic

- 12 hour shift
