**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in navigating the store's products and services.
- Provide detailed and up to date information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and accessories.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering practices.
- Engage in selling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Greet guests and **check identification** to ensure legal entry
- Respond to customer questions and provide **product recommendations**:

- Offer clear and accurate **information about cannabis effects, usage, and safety**:

- Ensure all interactions follow **Ontario Cannabis Retail Regulations**:

- Replenish shelves and update product displays as needed
- Follow safety and security procedures for **opening and closing**:

- Assist with inventory tracking, and restocking
- Assisting with incoming product **deliveries**, organizing stockrooms, and updating product displays

**Qualifications**
- **FULL G LICENSE**:

- You are **at least 19 years old** (mandatory by law)
- Hold a valid **G-Class driver’s license** (full license)
- Can successfully complete a **criminal background check**:

- Have or are willing to obtain **CannSell certification**:

- Friendly, professional, and confident in face-to-face interactions
- Able to manage point-of-sale systems and follow cash-handling protocols
- Knowledgeable about cannabis product types, accessories, and uses
- Flexible availability, especially for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable maintaining a professional appearance and behavior in a regulated industry
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred, particularly in a cannabis or related environment.
- Strong selling skills with a proven ability to sell products effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to educate customers about products.

Pay: $17.25-$18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
