**Cannabis Budtenders / ID Checker**:This is a 2-part role. As a staff member, you will rotate between these two positions within the store as needed. It is your responsibility to ensure that only people of the appropriate legal age enter the premises. You will also be required to assist on the sales floor if required.

**Budtender**:As a Budtender, the use of your cannabis knowledge and understanding is to be used to educate all customers to provide an exceptional customer experience. It is your duty to stay informed on all things cannabis related and to educate yourself to stay updated on cannabis information. You will be required to attend product knowledge sessions to further your understanding of cannabis. You will be engaging with customers regarding any and all of their cannabis related needs, everything from discussing products and their use including use of accessories, and completing the checkout process at Point of Sale. You will provide excellent customer service from entry to exit and treat all customers with the utmost respect. Duties include; organizing and preparing incoming orders. Assisting in; restocking, counting, and receiving inventory, delivery of orders to customers. Shop keeping duties such as merchandising, cleaning, mopping.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all provincial regulations, company regulations, and requirements for the sale of cannabis and associated products.
- Comply to all company training, standard operating procedures, and policies.
- Complete tasks assigned by the store managers.
- Maintaining a clean and organized packaging room, receiving room and employee workstation.
- Immediately reporting any inventory discrepancies.
- Receiving inventory shipments and stocking the packaging room.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum age of 19+
- Ability to pass Criminal background check.
- Ability to acquire CannSell Training Certificate (If you currently have CannSell please attach it.)
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, responsibility and excellence.
- Experience in utilizing POS systems. (Additional training for the cannabis POS system will be provided)
- Knowledge of the various forms of cannabis, including, product brands, strains types and effects
- Knowledge on the various forms of accessories, and cannabis consumption methods
- Outgoing and positive personality to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction and interaction
- Organizational skills
- Photoshop Skills are considered to be an asset and will be a factor when considering compensation

**Schedule**:

**Experience**:

- Retail Sales: 2 year (preferred)

**License /Certification**:

- Cannsell and Record Check (preferred)
- Full G License (preferred)

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
