Maintenance Technician Part Time

**Why work with us**: - Highly competitive wages - Access to benefit plan that includes various insurance coverages, employee assistance program - Access to discounted hotel rates across North America at all Crescent Hotels & Resorts managed properties - Great team environment where you are trusted, valued and supported in your role **Here's what you'll be doing each day**: - Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to keep the hotel in tip top shape - Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacement. - Assist in checking and making routine repairs and assist on major repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools and general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks kitchen and laundry equipment. - Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and record logs. - Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (e.g., snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening). **Does this sound like you?** - Ability to remain calm during high pressure and emergency situations. - Can communicate well with guests and fellow associates - Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co - workers with their job duties and be a team player. - Enjoys the challenge of trouble shooting for solutions. - General knowledge of building operations in a commercial setting is a great asset - Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends and/or holidays Our Differences Are What Make Us Great At Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Staybridge Suites Edmonton West we strive to create a great place to work where associates at all levels of our organization are respected for their differences, just like the guests and owners we serve.
