Shift Energy Group is hiring a Solar Sales Consultant to join our national sales team on Vancouver Island As a solar consultant at Shift, you will showcase a varied, intelligent, and compassionate approach when interacting with our clients, vendors, and colleagues. Our solar consultants are proactive, driven individuals who consistently strive for excellence and challenge the status quo.

Shift is a leader in designing and building solar and energy storage projects across Canada. We work on residential, commercial, off-grid, and on-grid projects, offering comprehensive solar and energy storage solutions tailored to diverse energy needs.

**About the Role**:
Join the renewable energy movement with Shift Energy Group We are seeking a passionate and driven Solar Sales Consultant who will engage directly with clients and communities, helping bring smart, sustainable energy solutions to life.

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will:

- Independently manage your territory with support from the Sales Manager.
- Conduct in-home consultations (set through internal leads).
- Adapt your schedule to meet clients’ availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Use persuasive communication—in-person and virtual—to close sales.
- Travel regularly within New Brunswick and occasionally to nearby provinces.
- Attend trade shows and community events to represent Shift Energy Group.
- Perform site assessments for solar installations on residential and commercial properties.
- All other duties as seen necessary for this position.

** What We’re Looking for**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2C or home development products.
- Strong track record in commission-based or retail/door-to-door sales.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual in French is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
- Comfort with technology and online tools for sales tracking and communication.
- Prior experience in solar PV sales is a plus but not required.

** Working Conditions: **
- Full-time (40+ hours/week) with flexible hours.
- Regular travel to support the sales team in various locations as seen necessary by the leader.
- Physical site visits may require walking large properties or outdoor assessments.
