- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently is essential
- Ability to work well with others, be a team player
- Provide a safe, healthy, and caring environment for the children
- Plan play-based curriculum and implement it in the classroom
- Updated Vulnerable Sector Screening Required
- Updated immunization including 2-step TB test required
- First Aid and CPR Level C
- Food Handler’s Certification
- not required but would be an asset
- Completion of a 2-year diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college
- In good standing with the College of ECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) or in process of registration with the college
- Knowledge of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen?

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.55-$23.86 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
