Here is what you would be doing
- Lead by example and work WITH the team to ensure the job is complete.
- Lead a crew to perform landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, trimming and pruning using a variety of mechanical equipment.
- Lead a crew to perform snow removal duties including the operation of heavy equipment, such as skid steers, tractors and salters.
- Maintain a daily routine schedule and adapt to changes last minute/when needed.
- Meet deadlines.
- Ensure you and the team members follow safety protocols.
- Ensure you and the team members complete tasks efficiently and correctly.
- Take care of the equipment and report any issues to the manager.
- Drive Truck and Trailer daily.
- Load and properly tie down equipment to be transported to the jobsite.
- Heavy lifting.
- Positive and Professional attitude with clients.
- Submit paperwork and documentation (electronically and/or manually) promptly at the end of each shift.

Here’s what you bring to the team
- Minimum 2+ years of landscaping/snow removal experience preferably in a leadership role.
- You have experience with landscape and snow removal equipment.
- A great attitude - you love what you do
- You can meet a challenge head on and solve the problem.

- You show up on time, ready to work every day.
- You get the job done, on time, the right way the first time.
- You love the hot summer sun and cold winter winds.
- You like to learn new things.
- You get more done in an hour than most folks do in a day.
- You know how to keep a jobsite clean and safe.
- You take pride in your work.
- You are fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.
- You can use a smartphone/tablet.
- You can legally drive in Ontario (valid G drivers’ license) and are willing to upgrade your license.

NOTE: This position is outdoors with hours that will vary depending on the weather.
Salary and benefit package negotiable based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- On call
