Plant Manager, Material Recover

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**:

- Manage and oversee all MRF operations, including sorting, baling, and shipping of recyclable materials.
- Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and throughput.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely material flow and distribution.
- **Staff Leadership**:

- Lead, supervise, and develop plant personnel, including shift supervisors, equipment operators, and maintenance staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and safety updates.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling of plant staff.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained and equipped for safe operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and incident investigations.
- **Maintenance & Equipment**:

- Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Work with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor asset performance and coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- **Regulatory & Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure facility compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for inspections and reporting purposes.
- **Budget & Cost Control**:

- Manage plant budget including labor, maintenance, utilities, and supplies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
