**Company Overview**

The Rockland Park Homeowners Association (RPHOA) is a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to manage, maintain, and operate the HOA amenities. The RPHOA will own, operate, and maintain the Rockland Park Lodge, a 4,750 sq. ft. exclusive community lifestyle centre that is situated on a 4-acre site. The main building will be the primary entrance into the park and will include multi-use rooms, a kitchenette, gathering spaces, and family-friendly change rooms and showers. The exclusive park will provide activities for all seasons with an outdoor swimming pool that includes a 25-meter lap pool and family-friendly zero entry area, pool side cabanas, a year-round hot tub, playground, central fire pit and gathering area, casual skate/adventure trail, hockey rink/basketball/modular skateboard area, pickleball courts, and amphitheatre.

**Position Summary**

The RPHOA is seeking a certified Pilates Instructor to lead a weekly class Friday afternoons from 12pm - 12:50 pm starting November 8th, 2024 and ending December 13, 2024, for our community. This role involves instructing a dynamic and engaging Pilates session, helping participants (ages 16+) of all skill levels enhance their strength, flexibility and well being.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Recreational Offerings**:_
- **Class Instruction**: Lead group and individual Pilates sessions, ensuring exercises are executed with proper technique and alignment. Tailor sessions to accommodate different skill levels and individual needs.
- **Program Development**: Design and update class programs, incorporating a variety of Pilates techniques to keep sessions engaging and effective.
- **Client Interaction**: Provide personalized guidance, feedback, and modifications to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Build strong, supportive relationships with clients, encouraging their progress and commitment.
- **Safety and Technique**: Monitor clients' form and technique to prevent injuries and ensure exercises are performed safely and effectively. Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ fitness levels and needs.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with Pilates trends, techniques, and certification requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Current Pilates Instructor certification and at least two years of experience teaching Pilates
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Ability to engage and inspire a diverse group of participants
- Must be a reliable, punctual, self-starter with strong work ethic, who is able to work with mínimal supervision
- Successful completion of a criminal record and vulnerable sector check

**Compensation**

Class rate, commensurate with experience
