Stanstead, Canada Stanstead College Full time

Stanstead College is looking for a full-time cook for the school’s cafeteria. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in May. The schedule consists of evening shifts as well as weekends.

Responsibilities:

- Manage food preparation, service, and cleaning in assigned section.
- Maintain high food presentation standards with executive chef.
- Actively participate in kitchen activities for passenger satisfaction.
- Ensure dishes meet established standards; perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Technical proficiency and experience demonstrating verifiable knowledge of food preparation methods
- Ability to complete different tasks simultaneously
- Ability to recognize problems and to find solutions creatively, and expeditiously
- Demonstrate thoroughness and versatility
- Ability to work proactively and independently, without constant supervision
- Asset — possess working experience in a commercial kitchen (high volume)
- Asset - knowledge of allergens
- Asset — bilingualism (English and French)
