**Business Excellence and Analytic Specialist**

**_About the role:_**

The Business Excellence & Analytics Specialist is responsible for the data analytics strategy and planning to enable decision making to support businesses to grow, maximize profitability and increase customer satisfaction.

Other duties include:_**
- Develop partnerships with the business to advance the automation of business analytics and performance reporting
- Participate in the RFP life cycle including - kick off meetings, analysis of requirements, strategy development and risk assessment and mitigation
- Develop and lead predictive operational scenarios modeling various business situations to ensure financial stability
- Monitor project risks and scope to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively work with team to identify solutions to address them in advance.
- Lead and participate in process improvement programs by analyzing existing key performance indicators to optimize efficiencies with ongoing operations
- Work closely with divisional managers to augment and enhance programs that ensure cost savings and business development initiatives
- Prepare branding materials and business presentations as needed to support external interactions with customers and promote a continuous improvement in culture
- Develop presentations and branding materials to support business development and continuous improvement initiatives using various data analytics platforms
- Develop tools and processes to support data informed decisions, process improvement and implementations
- Provide tools to allow dynamic forecasting, improved operations and data modeling solutions to support evolving analytic needs
- Support the maintenance

Qualifications:_**
- Post-secondary education degree business, engineering, computer science or related field; or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in Power of BI and other data analytics platforms
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in Construction or Utility Service Providers is an asset
