**The Opportunity**
RAM Iron & Metal is looking for an experienced Service/Parts Advisor for our Corporate location to join our Team. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the Technicians are supported and assisted from a supply and parts perspective in sourcing the required parts, pricing, ordering, receiving, looking for alternatives such as aftermarket solutions, on-hand inventory and monitoring and filing warranty claims.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Schedule, organize, and ensure full coverage for the service and parts.
- Monitor inventory levels, making sure it is accurate and prices are up to date.
- Ensure that assigned units files are up to date.
- Opening work orders and describing clearly and accurately the specific problems and needs.
- Communicating frequently and effectively with Technicians to obtain information on needed repairs.
- Ensure that parts are ordered and available for service in a timely manner.
- Be proactive in communicating with special problem situations.
- Keeping manager informed of the repair progress and communicating the need for additional work when needed.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in the heavy-duty equipment industry or related field.
- Must obtain a valid driver's license to drive between locations.
- Must be a self-starter, have proven skills in customer service.
- Must be able to problem solve.
- Must be solution-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
