Receptionist/office Assistant

**Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist & Office Assistant to join our team at MPI Morheat, Inc. This role is essential in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in various departments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, respond to telephone inquiries, direct calls and take messages.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, such as purchasing, sales, accounting and shipping.
- Assist processing credit card payments accurately and promptly.
- Maintain files, update records, and organize documents.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and coordinating timely reordering.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
- Manage multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business and /or accounting is an asset)
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing, or related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, **especially Excel**.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
