The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly into the Director, People, Performance, and Culture, with a dotted line to the Human Resources Business Partner. The role will also work in collaboration with the Manager, Payroll and Benefits. They will liaise with corporate employees, retail employees, Franchise Partners, and various internal and external stakeholders to create an exceptional experience for our teams across Canada, in stores and Head Office.

**In this role you will**:

- Provide daily HRIS administration and support (Ceridian DayforceHCM) by maintaining and updating employee information, new employee registration, wage increases, terminations, preparation of Records of Employment, analytics/reporting, trouble-shooting and providing system support/training for employees
- Assist with the maintenance and administration of HR programs, policies, and procedures, including legislated programs and training, Employee Assistance Program, wellness, etc.
- Prepare and amend, where necessary, HR documents such as, employment agreements, employment verifications, termination letters, etc.
- Complete administration of onboarding and offboarding processes and protocols, including background checks, onboarding documentation, and orientation sessions.
- Provide administrative support for workplace injuries, including reporting to WSIB/WCB, coordination of employee leaves of absence, and tracking.
- Support payroll processes and reporting, including acting as a back-up for bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Assist with the administration of group benefits plans, including setting up new members, ensuring all eligible employees are enrolled on time, processing benefit changes, benefits orientations, and responding to benefit-related employee inquiries.
- Support HR through active participation in ad hoc meetings and other project assignments, as required.
- Complete general administrative duties as required by the team/department.
Are you our next Human Resources Coordinator? You could be if you have,
- Diploma or university degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR work experience.
- 2-3 years’ direct work experience as a Human Resources Administrator/Coordinator.
- CHRP designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources best practices, policies, and programs.
- Familiar with the Employment Law in all provinces.
- Systems-savvy and previous hands-on experience and working knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Solid understanding of recruitment tools and processes.
- Self-starter with proven organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Service-oriented with an ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PPT
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.

- Previous experience with Ceridian DayforceHCM
- Bilingualism (French/English)
