**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a full time, forty (40) hour per week, _**_Team Leader in Edmonton, AB. at St. Padre Pio._**

You will be joining an established Agency that is guided by faith to care for and bring hope to people in need with humility, compassion and respect. With more than 50 years of service delivery, Catholic Social Services is one of the largest multi-function social services agencies in Canada, with more than 1800 staff, and hundreds of volunteers delivering 130+ programs throughout Central Alberta.

**Job Summary**:
Challenge your skills as a Team Leader, a coach and mentor for a team of dedicated staff providing supports to adults with complex challenges. Working in a residential setting, you will lead by example demonstrating excellent resident-focused service delivery including supports to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the person. Your willingness to learn about various resident conditions will ensure the highest quality of care. Your ability to multi-task will help you work through the administrative portion of your role efficiently, as scheduling; supervision and managing of day to day operations of the ministry are your responsibility. You should enjoy working in a unique, often changing environment.

Your passion for working with marginalized people will be supported by your willingness to embrace the unique philosophy of the organization, working to maintain the positive outcomes achieved to date. Your strong understanding of the mission of Catholic Social Services and a willingness to infuse all aspects of your work with humility, compassion and respect is a must.

Assertive, fair and flexible with strong organizational and communication skills you have developed good skills working with staff, team members, families and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or diploma in the Human Services; equivalencies will be considered
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize and deliver creative solutions.
- Provide delegation, negotiation and leadership skills
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
- Excellent planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines
- Flexibility and openness to changes
- Experience supervising teams
- Experience working with individuals with medical needs
- Strong computer skills and abilities.
- A vehicle and valid Operator’s License are required

**Compensation**:
The salary range for this position is **$23.93 to $26.93 per hour **based on qualifications and experience.
